ARPT is an unincorporated nonprofit association organized under the laws of the State of Texas. We reserve the right to a closed membership. Our aim is to increase the quality of service within the practice of phlebotomy. By passing through our established standards, technicians can be confident in their capacity to administer exceptional care to patients in need. While there is always more that can be done, there is no doubt that we are making a significant impact. ARPT’s mission is to provide a valid, uniform process to assess the knowledge and skills required for competent practice by phlebotomy professionals throughout their careers and to maintain a registry of certification status.
